My kids are bored of some of their play set accessories so I thought we would give a rope ladder a try. It is good exercise for them to try to hold it steady as they climb. I’ve been trying to show them the technique of climbing with a foot on either side of the ladder, like they do in ultimate warrior challenges. They insist on climbing the regular way, with a lot of wackiness ensuing. It’s a lot of fun. They climb it, use it like a swing or like monkey bars. My kids are 11 and 8 and it is plenty durable for them.
