This Fire Blanket is one of those things that you hope you will never have to use, but it came quickly, looks exactly like the picture, the price was good and only time will tell if it does what it says it will do. That said, i bought one for our house, and one for each of my 2 sons for their homes. Better safe than sorry.

Since grease has spilled on the lower level of the oven. Looked over and saw flames in oven. Pulled out blanket and pushed it in the lower part of the oven with a long metal spatula. It completely put out the fire. Scary at first; I was about to get the fire extinguisher; but this worked and all is clean and the food was also good. An extinguisher would have made a big mess. Very pleased; every home and RV should have one. Now it’s all burned looking and charred on the outside; great souvenir.
